Maurice and Joyce registered Sue at adoption as Susan Jane Glover and she went to live at Middlehurst Road, Grappenhall. Here she is in 1953 and again with Maurice and Joyce in 1958. As Sue grew up she visited Thornton Cleveleys where her cousins Chris and Mike lived. The extended Glover family with Sue, James, Zoe and Matt, is shown below circa 1982.
